Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar & Local Sightseeing
Your Kashmir adventure begins as you arrive in Srinagar, where a private transfer will escort you to your hotel. After check-in and a moment to freshen up, set out to explore the picturesque city.

Begin with a visit to the Mughal Gardens, a blend of beauty and history. Stroll through Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chesma-Shahi, with views of Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Mountains as the backdrop. Explore Parimahal and the vibrant Tulip Garden (seasonal) for a colorful treat.

In the afternoon, visit the ancient Shankaracharya Temple or the serene Hazratbal Mosque on Dal Lake’s banks. After a day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg – The Meadow of Flowers (60 km, 2 hours)
After breakfast, head to Gulmarg, renowned as the “Meadow of Flowers.” On the way, stop at the enchanting Drung Waterfall, which turns into a frozen marvel during winter. For adventure enthusiasts, an optional ATV bike ride is available to explore the waterfall.

In Gulmarg, take a Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak via Kongdori and enjoy breathtaking views. During winter, indulge in snow activities like skiing, snowmobiling, and sledging. You can also enjoy pony rides, bird watching, and leisure walks in the stunning meadows.

After a fun-filled day, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.

Notes for Gulmarg:

  • In winter, the road due to snow from Tangmarg – Gulmarg – Tangmarg is blocked, and tourist vehicles (as per Govt. regulations) will not be allowed to move. Only snow jeeps with chained wheels are allowed to move, which can be hired on a direct payment basis.
  • Frozen Waterfall in Drung can be covered on ATV Bikes at an additional cost.
  • In Gulmarg, the local taxi/pony union does not allow any vehicle to pick or drop guests at/from Gondola. All tourists are dropped at their hotel or tourist parking area.

Day 3: Srinagar to Pahalgam – The Land of Shepherds (90 km, 4 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, a destination known for its lush greenery and serene ambiance. Along the way, visit the fragrant Saffron Fields, Avantipura Ruins, and picturesque Apple Valley.

On arrival, check in to your hotel and prepare for an afternoon of exploration. Take a union cab (available at an additional cost) to visit Aru, Betaab, and Chandanwari valleys. To elevate your experience, opt for a pony ride to Baisaran Valley, also known as “Mini Switzerland.”

After an exciting day, return to your hotel in Pahalgam for dinner and a cozy overnight stay.

Notes for Pahalgam:

  • Aru, Betaab & Chandanwari sightseeing requires you to book a union cab at an additional cost.
  • Baisaran Valley/Mini Switzerland visit is a horse-ride trip for which ponies can be hired from Pahalgam.

Day 4: Pahalgam to Srinagar via Sonmarg – The Golden Meadow (75 km)
Post breakfast, drive to Sonmarg, renowned for its pristine landscapes and alpine beauty. Upon arrival, take a horse ride to Thajiwas Glacier, a majestic spot surrounded by snow-capped peaks. For an adrenaline rush, opt for whitewater rafting on the Sindh River (at an additional cost).

After an adventurous day, return to Srinagar for a comfortable night at your hotel.

Day 5: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, bid farewell to the enchanting beauty of Kashmir. Your private transfer will take you to the airport for your onward journey. Optional local sightseeing in Srinagar can be arranged if your departure is later in the day.
